grown into a multi faceted hospitality and food service
operation. Bob, Emma, Robert, and Joe Houston, founders
and co-owners of the operation, have a combined 100+ years
of experience in the industry. From movie locations, family
reunions, company picnics, elegant dining, to intense
forest fire locations, the Houston family has gained a

Houstons'
Trail's End Restaurant
A 155 seat family style restaurant and steakhouse located in the
heart of downtown Kanab, Utah, with western decor, where the waitresses
wear "guns on their hips, and smiles on their lips." The
menus are designed for the simplest of appetites, to the elegance
of char-broiled steaks and seafood. Your food fancy can be met at
Houstons Trails End restaurant.

Houstons'
Catering Incorporated
Houstons mobile catering started operations in 1978. Catering projects
have been wide and varied. Services have been provided in all the
states in the western U. S. and include customers from movie productions,
company picnics, family reunions, remote site weddings, remote site
business meetings. Houston's largest customer is the United States
Forest service. Houston's mobile kitchens provide meals to forest
fire fighters throughout the western United States. In 1996 their
kitchens were out a total of 97 days in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah
and Oregon. They have served over 10 million meals to fire fighters
over the years, under all types of conditions. Their mobile catering
equipment includes 3 kitchens, 2 refrigeration trailers, generators,
tents, tables, chairs, and everything needed to set-up a restaurant
at any customers location.
The Red Rock
Ride
The latest of the Houston adventures is the red rock ride. The ride
is a one week horse back camping vacation that takes you through
Zion National Park, onto Bryce Canyon National Park, down the Paria
Wilderness, and across the Arizona strip to the Grand Canyon.
